WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?

Please bring a drink of water to each session as it is essential to keep hydrated. If you have a yoga mat please bring that as we often do floor exercises. If you’re bringing baby, then a blanket, toys and snacks to keep them entertained are good ideas.

 

WHAT IF I HAVEN’T EXERCISED FOR AGES?

Don’t worry! The most difficult bit is actually getting to the class. Once you’re there you can take it at your own pace. At the start of each session we check ability levels and check for any injuries. Simply let the instructor know that it’s been a while, and we will happily tailor all the exercises to various ability levels. You should go at your own pace, challenge yourself if you want to. Take it easy to start with and you’ll be amazed how quickly your fitness improves.

 

I’M SCARED I WON’T KNOW ANYONE.

Nobody knows anyone the first time they come but we’re a friendly bunch, and we’ll try our best to make you feel welcome at all our classes, you’ll make new friends quickly.

 

WHAT IF MY BABY CRIES?

Don’t worry at all if your baby is less enthusiastic about exercise than you are. You can attend to your baby at any point in the class, change their nappy, feed them, whatever you need to do. We do lots of mat work where you can sit or lie with baby near you, and occasionally also use them as weights!!

At the buggy classes, everyone is in the same boat. Some children sleep through the entire thing, some complain the whole way through.

 

WHAT IF I’M WORRIED I’M NOT FIT ENOUGH..

Don’t be scared. Everyone has to start somewhere and we don’t have a fitness requirement at our classes. We cater for all levels, from absolute beginners to proficient exercisers.

 

DO YOU RUN A LOYALTY SCHEME?

Yes, you can buy classes in advance and simply bring your loyalty card to each session rather than worrying about finding cash every session. A 10 session card is £70 and a 20 session card is £135. Please contact us for payment details.

 

DO I NEED TO FILL IN A HEALTH QUESTIONNAIRE?

Yes. All exercise carries a degree of risk, but we need to ensure you are fit and healthy enough to embark on our exercise classes. Please fill in a PARQ form before you attend your first session. If you answer Yes to 1 or more questions, we may need to refer you to your GP to get clearance from them before you can join our classes.
